In School Field Trips

Catch the Science Bug with Dr. Doug! In-school field trips last 50 to 60 minutes per class and include teacher extension guides. In-school field trips can be customized for any grade level. Blue Marble Science provides all necessary supplies, supplemental materials for teachers, and take home materials for students.

After-School Programs

Custom after-school programs are available in six- to eight-week increments for all learning levels.

Week-Long Programs

Designed for an entire grade level, programs include a daily series of 60-minute hands-on activities that revolve around a central science theme. Teachers are provided with program descriptions that include measurable learning objectives. Suggestions for language arts integration and grade-level appropriate readings are also provided. Blue Marble Science provides all necessary supplies, supplemental materials for teachers, and take-home materials for students.

Guided Field Studies

Out-of-school field trips are available to the coastal and mountain regions of South Carolina. Guided field studies are also available at numerous aquaria, museums, and state parks.

School Assemblies

Imagine exposing all of your students to the wonderful world of science! Dr. Doug can bring an interactive science assembly to your school.

Summer Camps

Summer camps are available for students in grades K-8.

Professional Development Workshops

All professional development and knowledge enrichment workshops are based on tested and evaluated curricula developed by the Institute for Inquiry of the Exploratorium. Workshops are available in three- and six-day formats and offer
training in inquiry, learning assessment, teaching tools and practices, and knowledge enrichment.
